Dabbrook have been providing complex electrical and mechanical engineering solutions for over 30 years and has gained extensive experience in four main business activities

Renewable Energy

Dabbrook have been active in renewable energy systems for 15 years. This work has included stand alone and grid connected photovoltaic (PV) systems, small wind turbine systems and hydrogen fuel cells.

Dabbrook supplies pre-engineered solar PV kits for installation by MCS approved installers and supplies and installs grid connected PV systems for existing and newly constructed buildings and are MCS approved by the BRE to carry out installations achieve the Clean Energy Cash Back Scheme.

Our work includes stand alone systems which are designed to provide electrical power to equipment located in areas which do not have a mains electrical supply.

Environment & Waterways

All types of projects associated with river level control, lock gates, pumping stations and associated areas. Our clients include water companies, civil engineering companies, Environment Agency and Mechanical and Electrical engineering companies. Scope of these works cover power distribution, instrumentation and control, telemetry, mechanical construction and installation and civil engineering often acting as lead contractor.

Offshore Equipment

Our parent company, Tideland Signal is a world leader in the supply of lights and fog signals for use on oil and gas installations where hazardous gas environments are present. Dabbrook provide system design, assembly, wiring, testing and commissioning of the systems. These systems rely on Dabbrook's expertise in hazardous area equipment as well as its expertise and experience in the design of battery charging systems and control and instrumentation.

Service & Support

Dabbrook have a team of fully trained and certified engineers qualified for both onshore and offshore work. Equipment serviced includes Aids to navigation systems, PV systems, wind turbines and other electro-mechanical work. Survey and condition work is also undertaken with a full report being provided with photographs and recommendations. This is a growing area of activity for Dabbrook and at present we have an ongoing service contracts at the Transco Bacton Terminal and carry out regular service visits to Environment Agency sites and installations as well as offshore installations around the world.
